Antique Art Deco Painted Bow Fronted Drinks Cabinet / Sideboard in F&B Off Black

A beautiful antique solid and heavy oak Art Deco bow fronted sideboard / drjnks cabinet with carved doors and carved upstand. It has the original Art Deco handles on the doors and drawwrs which I have cleaned and polished by hand not painted over or spray painted! Externally the cabinet has been carefully prepared and lovingly painted in Farrow and Ball's dark and sophisticated'Off Black' Modern Eggshell which is very flattering to adjacent colours and is much softer than traditional black. The back wall of the cabinet and three of the drawers have been lined with a stunning gatsby wallpaper and I have relined the top drawer with a sumptuous red velvet.

This piece would be a stunning focal point in a dark, dramatic dining room or drawing room. The sideboard is in excellent condition for its age and there is no damage to note apart from the customary minor knocks, dents and cracks which are to be expected with antique and vintage pieces. I don't just slap on a bit of chalk or mineral paint and call it upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of preparation, and restoration being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, woodworm treated if there are any signs of historic woodworm, and primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. I don't distress my pieces, they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.
