Beautiful Grey Hand Painted Vintage Gustavian / Regency Country Style Bow Fronted Lady's Desk / Console Table on Caster Wheels. This beautiful mahogany desk has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey, waxed and - using our artisan ageing technique - it has been aged distressed, enhancing the beautiful shape and details of this piece. We have left the rather unusual pen and ink compartments on the desk top unpainted as they add charm and character to the desk, but if you prefer them painted we would be happy to do so for no extra cost.

With its three spacious drawers with gorgeous ornate Regency style brass pull handles, its slender tapered legs ending in functional caster wheels it is just so lovely and elegant. It has a beautiful bow fronted shape, painted leather top and rather unusual pen and ink compartments in the desk top. It is in good vintage condition. As with most vintage items there are marks and dents which, in our opinion is what makes vintage items so charming and characterful. Although it is a relatively small desk it has a comfortable knee height of 62 cm.
