FIFTY (50)Blocks of BOW TIE design: 7x7. FIFTY (50)Blocks of Yellow: 7x7. Blue folded over border w square corners.A wonderful, farmhouse, gypsy Primitive quilt. Reverse is pictured is a blue cotton. Stitching and quilting in good shape. Batting is light to medium weight thickness. NOT clumped or broken down. I believe this quilt top is quite old, depression era feed sacks, flour sack's material, probably 1930's, 1940's. I believe this quilt top was completed w batting, edging and backing added at a later time. I believe quilt top is handmade and hand-pieced with machine stitched quilting. Last two photos show details of a very small area of disrepair and another area w small stain. No attempt has been made to repair or remove stain.
