Antique Bows and Roses Garlands Copeland Plate, hand painted, 1851-95 # 1

One of a pair of highly desirable and fine Copeland plates, dating back to second half of 19th century. Potted in fine bone chine, white and smooth, beautifully shaped, andexquisitely painted with gorgeous flower garlands and ribbons. The gilding on these plates deserves a special mentioning too, as creating suchan elegant and refined décor would clearly take very skilful and highlyexperienced artist. Dimensions: diameter - 23.5 cm. Condition: excellent, very rare to find pristine antique conditionwith no damage or repairs, no glaze crazing and virtually no rubbing on gold.
