Antique German 20 Dolly Madison Parian China Head Doll Bow Earrings Lace Dress
Antique German 20 Original Dolly Madison Parian China Head Doll. Acquired from the original owners family. The woman who owned this doll was born in 1872 and this was her childhood doll.
It was passed down after her passing in 1969 and has been lovingly cared for ever since by generation after generation of her family. She features an intricate Ivory Lace Dress, layered underneath by a solid cotton slip dress with floral detailing along bottom with scalloped edging. She has a pair of undergarment 3/4 length pants underneath that with lace detailed bottoms. Beautiful blonde curly short hair with a black hair ribbon and Bow painted on. She has black stud Earrings in both ears.Both porcelain hands and legs / feet show NO chips as well as her head and upper chest both look great. The stuffed body does not have any damage or tears. Her black and gold painted on shoes still look marvelous.
High sheen and tons of detailing. I did notice a light scuff on her right leg and left face cheek. There is some spots of staining on her lace dress that are untreated.
Please also notate that the dress was repaired in the upper back and sewn tightly as to not be removed or slipped off. She has a long ribbon around her waist that is not attached. The amazing condition of this doll for the age is unbelievable.She is so gorgeous and classy in every way. Im happy to send any additional unseen or close up photos you need.
