Antique Large Hallmarked Georgian Sterling Silver & Paste Bow Brooch/Necklace

Antique Georgian Sterling Silver & Paste Large Bow Brooch/Necklace Circa. Large and truly fabulous large paste stone brooch/necklace. The round faceted paste stones are all super brilliant. All uniform in color This was originally part of another piece of jewelry; possibly a stomacher.

It has two sets of french hallmarks; one of the pin and the other set on the right side of the brooch; near the pin. The metal tests for sterling. The piece dates to the end of the Georgian era; mid to late 1830's. We had our jeweler create a removable antique link chain so it can be also worn as a necklace.

You would pin the piece to your clothing beneath the brooch, so the pin would not show. The brooch measures 2 1/2 inches high x 2 inches wide. The antique link necklace is 20 inches in length Total weight: 27.6 g.
