FINE FRENCH ART DECO SILVER PASTE BOW BROOCH or NECKLACE with chain 1940s

Fabulous original Art Deco silver paste bow brooch or necklace. It dates from around 1935 - 1940. Exceptionally smart and stylish it is made from high grade unmarked silver. Most likely to be French, with a pull out trombone style safety catch to the pin.

Well constructed with pierced sides and open bow, so it has the option to be worn as a necklace on a silver chain. Set with all original pastes which have mostly retained their original sparkle, This is a fine quality item of paste jewellery. The brooch measures 2 x 1.25 ins. The marked silver chain measures 16.25 ins.

Total weight is 12.5 gms. Exceptionally well made and finished as one would expect.
