Franklin! Golden mohair OOAK bear by Nikki Page, Sweet Violet Designs, reduced

Beautiful Franklin - golden mohair OOAK bear by Nikki Page, Sweet Violet Designs. This is a fabulous old gold mohair traditional type teddy bear, named'Franklin', one of a kind by talented artist Nikki Page, of Sweet Violet Designs. He is beautifully made from two different mohair in similar shades of ginger, fully jointed, black boot button eyes, dark brown stitched nose, soft cream cotton paw pads.

He has such a lovely expression! He wears a teal satin ribbon and I added a little teal ribbon necklace with teddy bear charms. He is filled with wood wool, and has some steel shot in his tummy to add a bit of weight, and give it that lovely slouchy look - good to cuddle! He is 11 tall, has a label sewn in to his back, and all his tags, with his name and the year he was made - 2022.

He is in lovely condition, I bought him from Nikki last year, and he has only ever been displayed. I love the fine details and quality - just perfect for Summer! I don't know why, but he reminds me of Aloysius - the teddy bear in Brideshead Revisited! I need to find new homes for some of my bears, as I just have too many.
