French Violin Bow by Louis Morizot. This fine and very rare French full-size nickel silver violin bow inscribed L Morizot on the shaft near the frog.

It is an original piece made by Louis Morizot in Mirecourt; it was made in the fifties and is a convincing piece with an exceptional tone and excellent playing qualities. It is strong and a pleasure to play, with a total weight of 62grms, it has a total length of 73.8 cm. The elegant ebony frog and the head is a remarkably beautiful piece of work. The strong, round stick is made of Pernambuco wood. This rare French Morizot 1/4 violin bow is in fine condition, fully re-haired, and such an excellent bow in fine playing condition.
