Gorgeous Antique Georgian Armchair Smokers Bow Captains Chair Makers Stamped with a crown then TC underneath the crown on the back of the seat and underneath the seat is stamped A & FH 1937 all shown in the pictures. It looks like the chairs been refurbished and had a repair on the seat which still moves slightly when sat upon but still seems fine when I sit on the chair and I weight is 15+ stone. Im not sure of what the wood is but if you look at the knots and swirling detail it really does look gorgeous. The chair has had brass casters added to the feet for the movement when sat on in the converted vicarage office where the chair was acquired from.
