Elegant Grey Hand Painted Gustavian Country Style Antique / Vintage Bow Fronted Bedside Table / Chest of Drawers. The base of this beautiful bedside cabinet has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey, sealed with a wax, while the top has been painted in Graphite (a lovely black with hints of grey and dark blue) - creating a charming contrast to the grey base. Using our artisan ageing technique, we have aged distressed it, enhancing its antique / vintage charm and character. This bedside table is very heavy and well made of solid wood, probably mahogany (it was painted when we found it, so not quite sure what wood it is made of). Rather than being a bedside table it is a chest of drawers in miniature - maybe it was made as a show sample.

It has beautiful Regency style drop handles and we have added faux keyhole furniture and a little decor at the bottom on the front. It is in good antique / vintage condition. As with most antique / vintage items is has some marks, dents etc that we think is what makes vintage pieces so charming and characterful - please see photos. As mentioned before it is very heavy for its size.

We are not quite sure of its age - could be antique just as well as vintage.
