Hand made women's cloche hat by Alexander & Hallatt in Magenta with downturned brim, inspired by the 1908 Cloche (bell) hat by Caroline Reboux. Burgandy stretch velvet velour band with button.
30's look to this hat. Please note that Alexander & Hallatt strive to produce the highest quality hats with minimal synthetic materials (synthetics used in mass produced hats flooding the market). With care, this hat can last a long time. Also note that there will be imperfections, like a stich showing or a line which is not perfect, but this adds to the charm of a true one-of a kind creation.
100% hand stretched (blocked) and stitched (no glue used). French woven grosgrain 65% cotton, 35% viscose (ribbon inside) in light pink. Stretch Velvet Velour band with accent (can be worn any way around) in burgandy with vintage button in greenish colour for contrast.
Hat can be worn any way around. 22 inches (around head, above ears).
7 inches (crown to brim). Felt of hat can be steamed and reshaped.No glue or machine stitching used. New hats will be listed regularly. Other Materials used in future auctions.
