Tod's Gommino Heaven Driving Shoes, Soft Grey, Leather, EU 39.5 UK 6.5, Designer. Model: Gommino Heaven Driving Shoes. Size: IT/EU 39.5, UK 6.5, US 8.5.
Tod's clean, practical and simple designs gives the company a very modern feel, as though they've been a fashion world feature for a few years at best - but in fact, the Italian luxury footwear and leather goods firm was established in 1920. Starting out in the cellar of founder Filippo Della Valle's house, the brand has grown and developed through three generations of family ownership (the current CEO, Diego Della Valle, is Filippo's grandson); it now boasts boutiques all around the world with flagship stores on every continent bar Antarctica. The Gommino Heaven driving shoe has become their signature women's shoe design. Originally intended for women who wanted a shoe that was both practical to drive in and looked good for daily wear, they're perfect for everything from shopping to the sand at Saint-Tropez. Though practicality is the most important consideration, they are also feminine thanks to the leather decoration laced around the opening, joined at the front in a bow and tipped with chrome ferrules bearing hot-stamped Tod's logos.
The uppers, lining and insoles are, of course, hand-made from the finest, softest Italian leather for comfort. They are 100% authentic items with all correct logos and features, and are not "seconds".They have been worn only once, by a model during a photo shoot. As such, they are in excellent, nearly new condition with only very light wear to the soles. There are no marks, stains or other defects to the uppers, linings or insoles and the logos on the insoles show no fading or rubbing at all. Due to the nature of this item it is not always possible for us to identify any missing parts. For this reason we ask that you please check the pictures carefully, as these show everything that is included. This item has been very kindly donated to the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
