UK made 80s Long Sleeve Silk Pink/Red Bow Hourglass Ballgown 10/S Backless

This is an original 1980s ball gown handmade in Edinburgh Scotland. It is 100 percent raw silk.

It is in excellent condition. Some slight fading is visible under the arms but this is so faint it was difficult to capture in the pictures.

The silk has a beautiful sheen and texture. Wearing a petticoat could further enhance the wonderful hour glass shape of the dress. Length from to hip to tip is 81cm. Shoulder to shoulder is roughly 40cm.

There is some flexibility with these measurements as the dress has been altered - so letting out the dress could make it larger. Further the tie at the back could be used to make the waist smaller.
